After dark on Saturday the car hit a bird at speed, partially caving in the windscreen. The team decided to keep going inasmuch as they did not have spare windshiels ready. They sent some mechanics to the Porsche corral and some brave 911 owner let them remove his windscreen to put onthe race car. pitted and although the screen was clipped in as required, the team also put down a layer of duct tape to the seams. In the painting you can see the hrriedly placd tape pulling away and flapping in the consideabl breeze!
